MINERALI INDUSTRIALI is an independent Italian company that was formed from the merger of two historic Italian groups: Maffei, founded in the early 1900s, and Gruppo Minerali, active since the 1970s. Today, it represents a cutting-edge mining group. With a workforce of around 550 people, approximately half of whom are based in Italy, in 2025 it achieved significant results, marketing around 3 million tons of raw materials and generating a turnover of around 162 million euros.
Minerali Industriali holds mining concessions covering a total area of over 3,500 hectares, distributed across 15 production units in Italy, 4 in Europe, 1 in Asia, 1 in North Africa, and 7 in Central and South America. Its main activities are certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.
Minerali Industriali operates in the following sectors:
- Extraction, processing, and commercialization of raw materials such as sands, feldspars, clays, and kaolin, intended for the glass, ceramics, sanitary ware, and paint industries;
- Production of innovative products for use in sports and leisure activities;
- Valorization of non-hazardous industrial waste (circular economy);
- Geological and mining research;
- Design and manufacturing of machines and plants for the mining sector and the circular economy.
