Close to Romagna between melancholy and desire for redemptionGiulia Reiso
19 September 2023. As evidence of our closeness to the Emilia-Romagna Region, we went with Fabio Cibin, Commercial Director of the Group’s Specialties and Glass Sector, and Emanuele Ramella, Commercial Technician of the Sport & Leisure Sector, to meet Riccardo Angeli, instructor and president of the Angels school at the Raketown Park in Forlì which, with 4 beach tennis courts and 4 padel courts, is the largest center in the Romagna province, and our customer for the supply of sand.
An emotional meeting, three months after the tragic flood that hit the Region, made up of melancholy stories but of a great desire for redemption.
The center was submerged by the wave of water which destroyed padel and beach tennis courts, changing rooms, equipment and the park in front. Thanks to the solidarity of the community which contributed to restoring what had been destroyed, last week the center reopened its doors to sportsmen and school activities.
To inaugurate the new season, Riccardo has organized a tournament that will cover the afternoon of Saturday 21 October (under tournament) and the whole day of Sunday 22 October, dedicated to amateur tournaments and interspersed with a buffet aperitif break.
Don’t miss the appointment, stay updated on his social profiles!
In addition to the supply of 450 tons of Portuguese sand to restore the fields, as evidence of our closeness to the Region, we thought, on this occasion, that it was a good omen to go and shake Riccardo’s hand and wish him the best in the near future.
Thank you Riccardo for the welcome he gave us and for making us testimonials of a recovery that, we hope, can only be downhill!
