Minerali Industriali and Fondazione Teatro Coccia, a cultural synergy

Also for 2023, Minerali Industriali has decided to embrace and support cultural initiatives more strongly through sponsorship of institutions dedicated to them and their activities.

Starting this year, the company has decided to formally define the recipients of donation or sponsorship handouts, stipulating that it will focus its actions toward health-related activities (mainly to research), sports at the local level, and cultural activities.

It was precisely with the Fondazione Teatro Coccia of Novara, Novara’s main opera house (as well as one of Italy’s major traditional theaters), and also Piedmont’s most important “historic” theater, that a collaboration was established at the beginning of the year to sponsor Puccini’s opera La Bohème, which will close the 2023 opera season.

With this initial approach, the foundations were laid for future ambitious projects in synergy, with the goal of first bringing the quarry to the theater, and then the theater to the quarry.

A testimony to the value the company recognizes in the role of culture, with a commitment to enhance and protect its precious heritage.
